BGR, if they were ordinary day-to-day fluctuations, they would not elicit any comment from me. however, they are not. if you don't believe me, look at a recent chart of QCOM, it speaks for itself.
whether there is a quality company underlying the stock has not much to do with whether the stock represents a sensible investment or not. surely 'overvalued' 'undervalued' and even 'fairly valued' are concepts that mean something? i know, the new era has done away with p/e ratios and their ilk, but i regard that as a transitory phase at best...it's not happening for the first time after all, and whenever investors have thrown caution and tried and tested yardsticks to the wind in the past, they have in the end paid dearly for it...with the exception of the short sellers that is.
