i would like to ask everyone to remember America's veterans tomorrow Nov 11, Veterans Day.
i personally had the privilege of serving in special forces from 1962-1982. in that time i worked in 26 different countries and spent 11 1/2 years overseas. i am grateful for the experience.
this country and our freedoms were built on bricks made from the blood of our veterans. i have only one request. if you see a serviceman or women in uniform, walk up to him or her and thank them for serving and volunteering to defend the constitution of the United States. i promise you they will beam with pleasure...just knowing someone cares and understands their value. you will make their day.
and just one more request...fly the flag on your home tomorrow
thank you,
unclewest
today is the marine corps birthday...happy birthday marines

>>unbiased reporting i am sure...LOL!<<

Hi unclewest,

Thanks for pointing out the bias-potential. I'll re-half-read it with that in mind and try to erase my first non-impression.

Yes I do remember the sldram name and that together with virtual channel some people thought it had a lot of promise. Seems like it was around this time last year. I think Bert McComas liked it. I've also heard that sync-link was very similar to Rambus -- but then why would Bert like it if that was true?

No I didn't know anything about mosaid (thought it related more to the Three Stooges than semiconductors). What specifically did they do to facilitate the Asians in the memory business?

Am I a part of the group? Yup -- I'm the cook!
