LS-120 Redux

Zead, Sheila, etcetera

My take on this is that Compaq, among others, has inherited
a huge back inventory of these devices. They have to unload
them somehow. This is how they're going to do it. It's not
their meat and potatoes. They're not stupid enough to think
that they can pit the LS-120 directly against the Zip any
longer, that's for sure. For example, they're not using
that stupid campaign where they say that the (cache-enhanced)
LS-120 beats the (slow as molasses) parallel Zip.

Cheers, Tom (still long IOM)
