Justa re<<<<So, folks, how high can we go in the face of rising inflationary expectations and an all time low unemployment rate? At what point do we reach an inflection point?>>>>

It's interesting when Bob was asked by a caller maybe last weekend about why we are able to maintain these extreme P/E's he said something to the effect that we must be seeing an effect of the demographic shift with the baby boomers. Perhaps a mundane remark in passing but I sort of got the impression that he has been surprised by the bull continuing in the face of current valuations and monetary policy and certainly must be happy that while his model was in dangerous territory in the fall it was able to remain bullish. I have to say though that this bifurcation between the Nasdaq and the Dow/D&P is amazing and I'm getting less sure of how much frothyness we are really seeing in the Nasdaq. There have just been an incredible amount of wealth and efficiency created with the recent bunch of broadband telecommunications and now B2B internet companies.
With a lot of these companies just turning public we may be looking now at an accelerated phase of high tech. Makes me a lot less sure of how to worry about a top.

Marc
