Trader J,

SPLS I prefer to have sold too early that too late, I remember MSPG at the beginning, it had gone up to 32, and I had not sold, and with force to wait, it went down again, and I finished with a loss. I often now think of the protection of my capital, thanks to which? :))

As regards the market, Dow has really difficulty in cross 10,765, which would replace it in a configuration hawser. As long as of Nasdaq, I think that it will follow the tendency of Dow. I think that one is in a neutral tendency which will break with the rise or the fall. Difficult to be mistaken with similar presumptions:))

As regards gold, I really hope that it goes up, because I have much of it, and losing at the present time. I did not follow, which I of had learned, and for the moment I pay for.

I keep good hopes, because if I am returned to sell at the same time as TJ, it is encouraging:)

Thanks, Nicole

HUGE news on LOR - has a new investor, MSFT. Might really rally now. Quite oversold. Longterm a 1000% candidate. Good luck, all. This rally ain't over yet though I too am getting a tad nervous with my $56,000 profits in last month.

"Redmond, Washington, Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Microsoft Corp. said Chairman Bill Gates and President Steve Ballmer will unveil a ``strategic partnership' tomorrow that analysts said may involve an investment in Loral Space & Communications Ltd. "

TJ; >Nicole: I think gold is a pretty safe bet here, and shouldn't do anything but get stronger the further we get into the 4th Qtr. NEM and ABX still look like good plays<

I agree that everyone should have at least a small % of gold holdings at this time. Just be sure that you are buying companies that will participate in any rise in the price of gold. You may have read about the recent Ashanti debacle where the recent spike in gold prices almost put them out of business due to their over aggressive forward hedging program.Only a bailout prevented this.
NEM has sold some calls on forward production but only a small % and is IMO a solid gold investment. I am not as enthusiastic about ABX which has extensive hedging in place. While it's not possible to know their complete program, knowledgeable industry sources believe that their forward sales are advantageous to ABX up to a price of about $325. If gold should rise above this level ABX's forward sales begin to be problematic. The higher the price rises the worse the problem.
In Canada T.eld and T.arz are junior producers that will participate
in rising gold prices. T.wrm is unhedged. In the US GOLD on the Nas and GSR and AEG are worth a look.
There are others,I just caution to be sure you are investing in a company that will benefit from higher gold and not suffer.

Regards,
RL
