My guess is that the company will do whatever it takes to keep the price above 7.
They're going for nasdaq national, which requires them to hold at least a $7 stock price.
IMO

E-Gate Configured for Linux
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov.
30, 1999-- AlphaTrade.com(TM)(OTCBB:EBNK - news) is pleased to announce that all of the E-Gate(TM) financial applications are now fully configured for the Linux operating systems.
This development is another milestone AlphaTrade has been actively pursuing to ensure compatibility with all kinds of computer configurations. AlphaTrade continues to redefine the words ''Thin Client Applications'' and is leading the way with its remote hub concepts. All E-Gate(TM) applications are designed to work anytime, anywhere and are compatible with any operating system or browser.
In addition, AlphaTrade's financial applications, E-Gate(TM), are now available to all of the 24 million plus members of America On Line (NYSE:AOL - news). Prior to this development, none of the AOL users had any access to Java based ''Thin Client Technologies''. AlphaTrade's financialapplications work extremely well in the AOL Browser. This development will open a whole new dimension for AOL users and creates a very large potential market for AlphaTrade's unique remote hub applications.
The key to future success in the computer industry is to have applications that work on any system, without downloading or installing any software. Consumers need to be able to access all of their information from anywhere and at anytime especially in the financial sector with the advent of longer trading hours.
