Those sound great- I checked and ours are indeed called "My Memories" and they are suitable for anyone of any sex- whatever relation.

They have some really neat questions - like "What world event during your lifetime most influenced you" and "What were your hopes for your children" (if you had any)- stuff like that. I love my book. My husband has been very good about writing in his too.

Reading your posting, I am reminded of how often we tried to get my husband's father to share more of his memories. He was the son of a British civil servant and grew up in Jamaica; he came to this country as a teenager on his own. It's a pity that all we ever got were snippets of what must have been an amazing life.
