Just thought I would post the Linux adopted by China posts. What a Bizzaro week. Seinfeld could not have even dreamed up all the drama we have seen in tech since Friday.

Very rich, and they say Gates wants to be big brother?
GraphOn concedes however that the Chinese government is probably enthused by its server technology (Linux) because it provides a simple way of keeping an eye on users' computer activity. "It is all about control but it's not an ugly or a bad control, it's not a big brother sort of thing," says Ford. (Yea right) "It's about cost control and they've looked at the problems that other markets have had with desktop based application and want to avoid them."

Hopefully, Jackson, Klein, and Reno will not mandate the use of Linux in Amerika.

Let's see, we have two non combat ready divisions, 20% of the Army, tomorrow is Veteran's Day. All we need are Soviet and Cuban paratroopers jumping into Colorado and then we have RED DAWN the movie<ggg>
