Ron,
If you look under AOL (for example AOL 5.0) directory where everything related to AOL is stored, there is sub directory named idb. This is AOL's local data base.
There are several files including AddrBk.ind, Diction.ind etc.
There are index files and but not sure where the actual data is stored.
Probably storing the whole directory won't be a bad idea.
The best solution is to call an AOL rep.

Ron,

You can save your favs and address book by saving your Organize folder (within aol folder) to a floppy or your desktop. Simply replace the empty Organize folder that comes with your new AOL with the saved one. As an added plus you now have these on a floppy for backup.
