When two people are saying opposite things then one or both of them is wrong... The above example however is an clear either/or statement SO I will absolutely guarantee one of us is wrong... I will also absolutely guarantee you it is not I There is a HELL. This is my question.. I believe I am attempting to answer your question as to how anyone in their right mind could LOVE a God who would predestinate people to Hell. Right ! So I have tried to start out bu showing you that some of your presuppositions are wrong to start with... You can not understand anyone loving a JEALOUS GOD also... That is easier to answer than the other... Many Christians struggle with predestination.. Some of them quite badly. The first man that ever told me about it.. and I left not believing him .. said that he left the ministry for 12 years... never went to church and would not talk to God. I said see the fruit... It must not be true or the fruit would not be unbelief.... I was looking at a very small time frame ... I was overlooking the final state of the man. This man raised 26 children 8 of them his own. He returned to the church in the end and was likely a very good teacher. I however left after only one bible study because I thought like you do That he must be mad to believe such strange things..... Later when I came to believe in absolute predestination I intended to call back to that town and get him on the phone and tell him I had arrived but he had passed away without me being able to tell him. Funny thing however... When he told me that he had prayed and God had told him to leave me alone that He would show me I thought that was the biggest cope out I ever heard... I was ready to debate... I had studied all the verses I thought proved that men had free wills and was convinced that he only said that because he knew I would tear that silly nonsense to shreds... How funny , I walked away beating my chest in victory and that selfless and God fearing man who gave his own life's comforts away to raise the fatherless was right !!! God is and has been very kind to me... I do love him... He is life. I'll catch you tomorrow and answer your question then, Night !
