steve harmon on netp
.Piphany (EPNY) caught the attention of investors with its customer
relatinship building services. We think Net Perceptions (NETP) may be a
undiscovered opportunity here.
one other net marketing company to look at is msgi
ceo recently bought 94,000 shares on open market between 11-12
cmgi owns 10%
ge capital owns 16%
revenues growing rapidly, currently over 82 million
this one is on the radar screen, looks like it could move over $20 pretty easy

Stock Suggestions for the Thread:

1. MFNX: After basing between 32-34, I think this stock is about to make another run, now up to 37. Put this on your radar screen and don't let it run away from you. Plenty more upside.

2. Gemstar: Very similar story to Qualcomm. After being embroiled in litigation (primarily with TV Guide and SFA) which put a lid on its price, it stunned everyone by merging with its bitter legal rival TV Guide. This gives GMST a near-monopoly over the interactive TV market, which will (IMHO) be huge. After Wall St. took a month to digest the merger news, stock is making a big run with heavy institutional buying. Get in now (after appropriate dd, of course). Yahoo has an excellent GMST board with a resident expert named NY Stew.

3. Covad Communications (COVD): After being dormant for months, I think the xDSL sector is about to return to favor. Stunning earning report from Rhythm NetConnections (RTHM) may be the catalyst. I believe xDSL technology rather than cable will be the primary means of high-speed internet access because it is easier to deploy en masse. Entire sector (COVD, NPNT, RTHM, and CMTN) should be ready to run.

4. Cobalt Communications (COBT): After spiking up to 150 plus on its IPO debut, stock has sold off to 108 and we are nearing the point at which it will level off and begin (IMHO) a monster run. Placing a buy limit at or near 100 will limit downside risk. When COBT enters the week before the end of its Quiet Period, this stock will explode. It makes a superior, cost-effective product (server appliances) which enables organizations to establish a web presence which integrates seamlessly into the open source Linux operating system. With Microsoft's problems, this will be a broadening market.
