heinz, the current Fed is far worse than the fed of the 20s at least back then they attempted to prick the bubble albeit too late. Have you seen Greenspan's essay ( The Objectivist-1966) in which he criticized the Fed of the 20s for its easy money policies? ho ho ho Mike

Heinz,

Either:

a. This Fed is the most incompetent one in history.

b. This Fed is trying to destroy the financial system.

c. Everyone in the world that is warning about what's going on is an idiot. That includes virtually every great investor in history.

I doubt it is B or C.

I just can't see how this is going to end. They are hell bent on providing whatever amount of liquidity is necessary to support the bubble. It's a frightening situation with few investment alternatives available to make one comfortable. The sicker the valuation, the sicker it gets. The more reasonable the valuation the cheaper it gets.
