In honor of Veteran's Day:

I'LL BE SEEING YOU
The Ink Spots/Bing Crosby
(Irving Kahal / Sammy Fain)

- This version, by The Ink Spots, did not chart but
in 1944, Bing Crosby took it to # 1 and Tommy Dorsey managed # 4
- Bing recorded "I'll Be Seeing You" Feb. 17, 1944. It entered the charts two
months later, where it stayed for 24 weeks, topping the charts for 4 weeks.
- Introduced in the revue "Right This Way" and sung therein by Tamara.
Adopted by Liberace as his theme song.

I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces all day through
In that small café, the park across the way
The children's carousel, the chestnut trees, the wishing well

I'll be seeing you in every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the mornin' sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you

------ instrumental break ------

I'll find you in the mornin' sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you
