Actually, you didn't need to respond, but I'm glad you did.

I agree that the RUT really looks very interesting and showing incredible strength here. Lord knows we need to see the broader market be resuscitated to a large degree.

Btw, those solar storms you're referring to have been in the news for about a year or so. Most of the tech-heads call it "Cycle 23", I guess it being the 23 cycle they have tracked. Anyway, they could really be pretty serious, or they could result in nothing spectacular.
No one really knows.

But isn't it nice to think that, theoretically speaking, we'll have 8 minutes notice?? (speed of light x 93 million miles between earth and Sun).. But then of course, if the speed of light is the same as those particles the sun is putting out....

Well.... hmmm... I guess we're just SOL.... :0)

Chip this anticipated peak in sun storm and sun flare activity is the peak of the normal eleven year cycle. So go back to '89-'91 for a possible comparison. It will cause some problems but should not be a disaster.
