Many of these are domiciled at various Compaq facilities but a significant number are out in the field at selected customer sites. Word has it that customer response has been extremely positive, and SKC suspects that Compaq will be able to tout a Day One order backlog of as many as 2,000 systems during the anticipated February Y2K formal product announcement. ----------------- Does anyone know the approximate $ value of these 2000 systems?
