True true! When it comes to taxes, I'll place myself squarely in the "scrupulously honest but thougtfully aggressive" category. I never mind paying what I owe (it's the 15% self-employment tax that hurts the most, BTW). But I'm certainly going to arrange my financial affairs to make that number as small as possible within my best-faith interpretation of the law.

One thing, I've found it's important to have an accountant/tax advisor whose take on these things is similar to your own. Otherwise he/she can't help you and vice versa.
