The best upward price movements come when shorts are scared or are forced to cover, essentially at any price. The loss on the upside is potentially unlimited, so forced covering can result in exponential moves.

Huge order influx, with many buyers and very few sellers - I am sure. Woudn't the specialist have to go seriously short in such a situation?
