Maybe some of you are forgetting this article I posted on Nov 4, just a week ago.

It should clear up the question of who produced the core technology for this new product. To me the article indicates that it's LU's core technology, and it wasn't JDSU, although I've got to believe that JDSU (and probably LUMM) are working on the same type of technology in their labs (for everyone else to use).

As well, and I can't find the source, but TXN is also working on the same micromirror technology on a chip.

SDLI supplies the technology for Lucent's WaveStar. This from their CEO at this week's AEA conference.
