Novice Strikes Gold

LONDON (Reuters) - Just two minutes after being shown how to work a metal
detector, Kevin Elliott, 33, uncovered the largest hoard of Roman coins ever found
in Britain.

Persuaded to have a go by his cousin Martin, he discovered the first of 9,377 silver
coins when trying his luck on his father's dairy farm.

OT Thanks to all vets, too.
Many years ago I'll never forget standing in Northern Thailand in the middle of the night, no transportation, lost and scared to death. I thought if I ever make it out of here, I'll never complain about living in America. I don't even fuss about paying taxes, even if I don't agree entirely.
