I was using the handy-dandy SI market tools for most active and came across SSFT, up over 100% today. I thought Scan Soft looked familiar so I went looking on their website. Sure enough they made Pagis Pro which I got when I recently bought a Xerox multifunction machine. Interestingly I couldn't find any mention of Xerox on their website. However, on Hoovers.... "Visioneer became ScanSoft in 1999 when it sold its hardware unit and bought Xerox's ScanSoft digital imaging business, taking that unit's name. Xerox owns 45% of ScanSoft."

I guess SSFT is trying to distance itself from Xerox. Reminded me of our friends Rockwell and CNXT <g>.

Maybe we should be looking for dinosaur sprouts <g>.
