That's why that I was thinking that Yhoo will not announce a split before the next q. If they split now, the supposedly $.18 or whatever will be cut into half, not very impressive. (see, when you do have very small earnings, not large losses, you don't split very often)

Yhoo's short interest increased to over 12M shares from 9+ million shares from 9/99 to 10/99, which may have contributed to the $200 excitement coupled with the split rumor. But unlike Amzn's, yhoo's short interest is still very weak.

Eugene, that's very annoying. How will I catch you this way? Even Qualcomm was up a little more than Novellus today. This just isn't FAIR!
