Market Analyst Larry Wachtel, who imho is one of 2-3 people that guests on CNBC who really know what's going on, just said he'd "put some 'shekels' on CPQ and DELL who have been out of favor." DELL reported .18. El

Larry Wachtel of Prudential Securities like the semi and said "I would put a few shekels (Israeli money) on CPQ & DELL" .... nice to hear

DELL .18 = to ests.

CPQ funny last trade so far 22 1/16 ... that's 3/8 below the previous trade ... I am SURE that's a bad trade ... better be !!

Tech fund manager on CNBC was just talking about the I-Paq effect on Compaq's stock and the sense amongst the street is that it's agood idea and will be very successful. He stated an advertising campaign is expected to come out soon and will definately help the 4th quarter. After being asked where he expects Compaq's stock within the next couple of months he stated, " just put it this way, if I was a short on Compaq my knee would be buckling".
