Gartner has been talking trash about SUN lately, on Jave on Hardware and now on Start Portal...sounds like someone has gotten on the payroll of someone!..Funny has Gartner talked about several key and very important MSFT executives that have bailed...? i.e. sam jadalah ...for one..!

This probably means that the developers are too smart to buy the company propaganda. Probably, also means that the zealots on this thread that work for SUNW are not developers. <g>

There have been a lot of defections from Scotty's ranch over the years. Quite a few of them went to Bill Gates spread up north. Bill gave them an IQ test and a cot and put them to work. He seems to appreciate developers more than Scotty and his foremen do.

I never seen anyone defect from Bill's spread to SUNW. The culture shock would probably be to great.
