IndioBlues, (MDR Call buying)

While I concede that you probably are more knowledgeable regarding options I have to disagree with you on this one. The size of the lot leads me to believe that it was a single buyer. (There was already a 300 lot for the Dec 17.5's. Someone doubling down?) There was heavy institutional buying around 16 and 15 this morning. It's very possible the options were purchased before MDR hit rock bottom. This would explain them paying twice the "going rate".

Considering the normal amount of option activity in MDR, 950 is very significant imho.

However, I'm curious it also looks like 940 May 17.5 Put were bought.

I didn't buy MDR due to the call buying. I just find it interesting...
