buying a bit of abx and selling the calls on it works for me...its a hedge of my own against the au's and asa's and harmonies of the world...in case pog stays lower abx is good due to its hedges and , hey if pog goes to the moon, i won't care if i lose on abx as i'll clean up on the others which are the majority of my holdings... no big deal and i think the tirade against abx is much hysteria...if people don't want to buy the hedgers, then that's the time TO buy them...
