CNBC just reported 6 - 8 "suitors" are battling for the handset division. The best is yet to come for QCOM.

AOL showed a little strength at the end of the day. It wont bother me one bit to stay here for awhile. IMHO, I think the best thing for AOL is to come down before the split. The psychology of the market will be on our side. For instance....we could run up alot more...make the recent short term gains even greater then they are. If we run up prior to the split, and then split at a high level...more then likely we will see some selling off, which means we will have twice the shares for the drop. If we stay lower or drop prior to the split, we stand a better chance of running hard upward after the split...with twice the shares of course. Personally, I'd rather see the post split price at $60, or even $50, then split...and then run upward rather then see the post split price come in at $80+...in any event...it's a moot point. a couple of years and a couple of more splits and we wont even remember this......
