An excerpt from the online WSJ...

"There's just a lot of excitement on CDMA," said Salomon Smith Barney analyst Alex Cena, who
recently raised his price target on the shares to 370.

The enthusiasm got extra energy from a technology demonstration and meeting Qualcomm held in
California Monday and from recent comments about the potential for wireless data transmission by MCI
WorldCom Inc. (WCOM) Chief Executive Bernard J. Ebbers and others, analysts said.

Investors also are very enthusiastic about the sale of the handset division. The company has six bidders
for the unit, Cena said. He declined to elaborate."

I thought IJ said they had 3 bidders?!???! Does this mean that other companies continue to pile on trying to get a piece of the action???? Man, at this rate, who knows what kind of a deal the Q is going to be able to cut....
