Goutama,

<I know you held on to your AMD position.>

Yes, I did. I actually added a little bit after the conf call but didn't get execution until after the halt was lifted. I am a happy man today. My portfolio has been on a tear for the last couple of weeks. Haven't bothered computing but I am well north of 100% for the year.

<What are your new plans to deal with your AMD position. What are your expectations for tomorrow and after that?>

Nowadays in this industry even second rate companies with mediocre growth prospects get valued around 4 times sales. Going by that measure AMD should be worth about $24B (4x a conservative forward estimate of $6B in the next 4 quarters). This would put AMD at a minimum of $40. The upside depends on how generous the market gets on the PE. So, this is my target for until Q1 earning. After that I will have to look at Athlon penetration on the business side, look at Wilamette status and consider managment guidence.

So, my target in a nutshell, is at least $40+ by Jan. If the momentum crowd kicks in we may get there pretty fast.

Chuck
