UncleFrank and Thread...what is the current thinking on Broadcom? King Candidate? I know I could dig back, but, honestly, I am so busy trying to stay up with this market, my research is lagging.<g>

Thanks for any insight.

"Please send my regards to your lady. She showed great judgement in empowering you to enrich the family coffers.
Now don't blow it on SPs."

The lady sends her regards to all, and thanks all for the newfound funds (which will eventually go toward saving all those cats--and ok, maybe some dogs and raptors too!). She just wants to know when she'll be getting her husband back...<g>

As for little baby SP ITXC, it's her colleague's husband's firm, so departmental gossip is now as apt to be about stock prices as about academic topics...<g>

Another colleague in her department bumped into her in the hall yesterday and said, "I hope your husband didn't sell his Qualcomm!" Professor tekgirl hadn't known that I had bent this guy's ear about the Q back in September (as a favor, to get him off a stupid trading strategy), and she burst out laughing. She assured him that we hadn't. So now her colleagues think of me as this stock genius, which is of course absurd, but pleasant enough...<ggg>
