Patriarch, thanks for Rip Watson write-up, a good overview.

I also think R. Begun may be right in his assessment on the current valuation:

"Begun cautioned, though, ``it's trading at an extremely
lofty valuation, and it remains to be seen if UPS can maintain
that valuation.' At a price of $72, UPS would trade at about 50
times its 1998 earnings"

Though I am willing to ride the UPS truck through any dips that may lay in the Market road ahead,
