Support, as it exists, is where it started. When a chart has a parabolic curve, there's no telling where the retreat will go. It's pure roulette.

I don't know if it's possible to predict support levels on these vertical climbers since there was never a consolidation anywhere to mark as a support level (except all the way back from where it came). But since all TA is, in my opinion, based on perception and to a large degree a self fulfilling prophesy, then maybe retracement rules of thumb make as much sense as anything. Depending on where exactly you choose to call the beginning of the run up, it was on the order of 48 to 50 points. A 50% retracement would lie just about where we are now, give or take a point. I think the traders are going to be looking for a pop off of this level (see the chart for JNIC for an example of this). I don't know if this is a highly regarded TA viewpoint, but I picked some up at 52 just before the bell. Guess I'll find out.
