I agree. If you had a second hard drive, SystemSave would put the image there because I believe that the BIOS normally reserves the name "D:\" for the first partition of the secondary drive, if there is one. For example, my primary drive has the partitions C:, E: and F:, my secondary drive has one partition, D:\.

...how large is your drive image?

I am only using 1 gig of my C:\ drive, and the image of it is 527 MB. That seems like a lot of compression even though I used the low setting. I should check and make sure it's all there. DriveImage is very convenient for making entire images, and restoring them or individual files. I don't know if it will restore individual folders, I haven't gotten that far. It might be on one of the companion programs.

Disclaimer: the most relevant qualification to computer expertise I can claim is that I just won 17 games of Freecell in a row...
