Jim, Dell's "memory problem" was the big spike in SDRAM prices that occurred this year. That has little to do with RDRAM, although I'm sure the anti-Rambus guys would disagree.

As for Dell's consideration of alternative processors, if anything I'd expect Gateway to return to AMD before I see Dell trying AMD for the first time.

Jim,

It would be great if Dell got on board, but even without them, if AMD makes just over 1 billion in Q1 they would have a profit of $1 per share. Applying a PE of 20 yields a share price of $80. With FLASH exploding, K6x sold out, Athlon ramping nicely and showing market acceptance I do not see how this is not a lock (barring unforeseen events!).
