It's too easy to be a reporter these days. "Rande", which is mentioned, is also a popular SI thread!

Rande touched on recent consolidation in the industry: "The bottom line is that there are only a few Internet advertising companies left. ENGA, FCST and ADFC were bought by CMGI over the past 2 months. Likewise, DCLK is rumored to buy TFSM. That leaves two companies in the advertising sector. . . MMPT [at $62] and NETP. And with the recent move of the stock price on NETP, it would not surprise me if CMGI made a quick move to gobble up NETP before it runs any further."
