American patriotic holidays have always been very important to my family. It amazes me how many people don't even have flags around here. To me it's part of the house..like a garage or any other fixture. The lack of appreciation for the sacrifices others have made is a large part of what's wrong in our society today IMO. I've said this here before(I think)..If anyone ever tries to burn an American flag in my presence I will more than likely end up in jail..No compromise..No questions asked..I will not stand by and watch it happen.
