Larry, I agree 100% that there's no room to piss and moan and call those who live off the capital markets in sometimes rather devious ways. That's all in the nature of capital markets. Anybody who sees them as inherently benevolent is living in some quaint fish bowl, not the real world. Any deep water has sharks. That's nature and if you go wading out there with your little pail and shovel and get eaten, tough shit for you. Live is cruel. That said, your attitude displays exactly the same naive insistence that the world conform to your ideas of what people "should do". E.g. you are very well aware from your market activities of how vicious the floorless bandits are. Guess what, many good, successful, professional business people are quite naive about this. Your righteous indignation about how stupid they are is way out of line. You also fail to appreciate how extremely difficult it is to do things like running companies and managing complex technical endeavors. You sound like you think it's a piece of cake. Just try it! It does not sound like you have very much experience in any real world business. Try starting your own company. Or even working for a startup. Raising capital looks so easy to you. Right! Try it sucker. You don't have a goddamn clue about what it's like in the real business world, otherwise you would never, ever throw blame around so easily and talk like you could do a better job that Carl Berg in managing a billion dollar business. As it happens, there are lots of contradictions in life, such as a you knowing more about the perils of floorless covertables than Carl and Lev did. They've been doing other things with their lives that hang around SI. Get real! You're still too short to be able to even piss on Carl's shoes. Your blaming Carl and Lev is at least as stupid as those who blame the shorts. Your both stupid!
