There have been projections about retirement and it won't be that awful. One reason: baby boomers won't retire. They will do what many of the pioneers on SI are doing, which is command their own work at their own time and pace, consult, go into business for themselves, work part-time, continue to invest for themselves, do smart things like keep their portfolios and take out "mortgages" for homes or second homes based on their portfolio, without having to sell stocks to ante up cash--no, they won't suddenly "retire" and cash in their portfolios. It's just not in the psyche of baby-boomers to do that and the youngest are only 35 so there's a long long way to go

My brokers(except you ferspag) wait with baited breath for my next move. I get any IPO I want now as long as I keep the juice flowing. I recomended NITE @20 SNDK at 48 and SPYG at 20 in the last few weeks. They buy for their own accounts, they dont even try to sell their clients!

Gene,

Congrats on your QCOM. I cannot believe the run this has had. It was under 200 seemingly only days ago.

Color me jealous,

Brian
