victor..."Ach Du Lieber!!!!", Eckhardt screams
"He knew my script and look vat happened!"

"cool stuff"? does not sound very sophisticated.
"Gee golly whiz, Compaq has cool stuff"....

The IPaq does have a "sexy design"!
Designed in Milan?
It appears to be a step in right direction.

"He is very cautious about making performance predictions."
At this point of the credibility gap ... it is the
most prudent long term approach. Even though it will
not move the stock on a short term basis.
Let the actions speak for themselves at this point.

victor....Well, you've gotta hand it to Michael Dell. Not only does he put in a nice earnings report, but he also puts on a very positive conference call. The DELL shareholders are lucky to have a ceo who has the moxie to step up to the plate and say things like I predict a very healthy Q4 and Y2K will have little or no negative impact on our numbers for Q4. All we get from our ceo is uncertainty and mystery about Q4 and comments like it will be the hardest Q ever to predict, and if the entire Q were like the first 2 weeks, I could give you some guidance, but.... Is Capellas a wimp or did I miss something here? I would love to be corrected in my view. El
