Runner, You've probably got a right to be paranoid. Two days after Mr Bill tells us there is nothing to worry about, I check my IRA account balances with my my broker on line. This was about 10 minutes ago. They have the balance in my account off by about -26%. I called them and asked what was going on. They said they are working more software changes for Y2K. The techy that told me that probably wasn't supposed to, but it sure was nice getting a straight answer. He said they've been working double overtimes for the past month and the end in sight is Dec 31. I find this just a wee bit uneasing. I wonder why I'm one of the few still worried? Maybe cause I use to do software development and know there is no way all this will come together by year end. Peter :o)
