Tony, this last paragraph in Dells report says it all! Simply amazing!

"``You have a company that is at an annualized rate of $25 billion growing at 40 percent plus,' Kumar said of Dell's continued gravity-defying financial performance. ``No other company does this at this magnitude of revenues,' he said.

Internet sales, a key focus for the world's top direct PC seller, reached $35 million a day during the quarter, or 43 percent of overall revenue. On an annual basis, sales at dell.com alone would be $12 billion, qualifying it for Fortune 125 status.

Tony,

Thanks for posting the Dell CC summary.

I thought the Y2K info in the call was interesting. Dell said that some end users had locked down purchasing; other were expanding purchases because of Y2K. Many people on this thread debated if the Y2K "effect" would decrease or increase 4th quarter sales, it looks as if both sides may have been right depending on the end user.

You are not lazy, you just know how to save time by delegating <g>.
