Sierra wireless skyrockets Thomas Hirschmann Financial Post, with files from Bloomberg News Sierra Wireless Inc. (SW/TSE), up $6.15 to $28.10, on volume of 799,021 shares. Shares of the wireless technology firm continued their ascent after it announced a $30-million (US) contract with Metricom Inc. The shares rose another 28% yesterday, continuing a two-day 67.8% run as analysts offered up opinions. RBC Dominion Securities Inc. reiterated its "outperform," while Scotia Capital Markets raised its rating to "buy" from "hold" with a 12-month target of $27 a share.
