Robert; If my memory is correct, this comment was made when Lev was discussing the 'explosion' in demand for cell phone/laptop batteries in general and lipoly batteries in particular. I interpreted his comment to mean that even if VLNC meets all of their production goals that the market will be so large by then that we will actually lose market share. In a nutshell, if VLNC can execute there plan there is plenty of demand for the product. duckster

My translation: "The market for lithium polymer batteries will grow faster than our ability to produce..."

That's okay, because it is more a reflection on the market dynamics than their ability to produce. Conversations with management indicate that they continue to feel that they are on track to have roughly $ 250 mm of capacity on stream by the end of 2000.
