Cognos' strong sales spells good news for Newsys. Here's why 1 - Cognos' BI software sales are going gangbusters newswire.ca 2 - Newsys has been a Cognos partner for 5 years (made easier since both companies are headquartered in Ottawa) cognos.com; 3 - Cognos cannot handle all the associated consulting work internally. Already Cognos is contracting Newsys for the support work that Cognos can't handle, or prefers to outsource (see news release in #1 above) 4 - Newsys made two presentations at Cognos' international users conference in September expanding exposure to Cognos' international clients.
