just a silly question, and believe me- im not an expert shorter or in any position to give advice- but im curious why you would short DELL or QCOM right now? LOok at all the crap thats flying! Why go after stocks that actually have a real story behind them? Sure they are inflated pigs but it just seems to me that the theory of catching a falling knife when trying to find a bottom on a stock has to apply in the other direction as well.. Why try to find a top on QCOM? why not look for a top on trash like SRCM or SNRS?

like I said.. just an opinion.. I got 2 points out of DELL and sold before earnings..never hold into earnings on this end.. but although the picture for DELLS future growth is hazy, you HAVE to be impressed with what they have done right up to this quarter... comdex next week..

good luck!

I sold all my longs except MSGI and CMTN.. theres no way this market is going to go strong into next weeks meeting, but im not going to bet on that :)

Also watching SUNW if we have a pullback.. what a rocket! (long of course)
