We both got the flu shot. With some hesitation, because we both got sick from it last year. Or, I should say, coincident with having gotten the shot, we each got something like a mild flu last year, and decided against getting it again. But I read that the flu is really vicious this year, so we did it again. And this year neither of us got at all sick. Soreness at the site of the injection, but no illness.

Just FYI.

And I was told at Kaiser that if you DO get the shot, and then you DO get the flu anyway, you will have a milder version of it.

But who knows what's true.
