coug: I have been expecting an important decline to begin around mid November if not sooner for some time. I thought a top to my OMC was in, but did concede up front, that marginal new highs could occur. With the recent surge in the COMPX and a retrace from the NYA, my OMC has set new highs. One must note NYA did not set new highs and the COMP (Dow 65) found strong resistance at the lower trend line of its pervious declining trading channel. I posted charts of all of the above recently on this thread.

Your call for a major decline to start today, may prove to be good timing. Let's see what the Market has to say. It does appear that a suckers open may have been in the offering...

I must also point out that I have been expecting bond rates to decline in unison with equities before year-end as well. My expectations have been based on TA with some Y2K thrown in for FA justification...<g>

Time will tell...
