Thanx Black Marlin. Why did Albertson retire from GE?
Is zip's speed over cd-rw significant?-will it keep the speed edge?
Will iom stock finally take off and if so for short or long term?

Black Marlin, I was pleasantly surprised to see the news about the new COO, soon to be CEO in Jan. 2000, announced this morning! Needless to say it also had a positive effect on the stock price. Have been following the action on "Quote.com" and it now shows a bunch of trades at 3 15/16 so 4's are likely later in the day. I am encouraged to see that Mr. Bruce Albertson is a guy that likes to innovate and develop new products and that he strives to do this by team efforts. His experience in marketing is something that Iomega needs now and his years in Asia may also come in handy as this is the real "sleeping giant" out there as the present time. Let's get Zip and Clik! drive into computers, cell phones, game consoles, and other electronic devices in China and the rest of Asia and watch the profits grow. Looks like the new COO/CEO is able to think "outside the box" so will be waiting to see what his vision is for the new Iomega in 2000. If we can even meet estimates of 34 cents a share by the end of next year, then we will be seeing some excellent returns on this stock. Best regards to you and the rest of the board. Mel
