Do I hear that Y2K bug buzzing off in the distance?

"London, Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- BG Plc, the U.K. gas
transportation and storage services firm, is facing industrial
action over Christmas and New Year, by employees in pursuit of a
pay claim, the Guardian newspaper reported, citing a vote by BG
gas workers. Technicians working offshore on BG storage
facilities in the North Sea voted 96 percent in favour of
industrial action, the newspaper said. This comes after
yesterday's release of the company's third-quarter results and
statement, in which BG said it could not rule out gas supply
difficulties resulting from computer problems related to the year
2000, although it has spent 53 million pounds ($85.7 million) on
a program of contingency measures to cover the period, according
to the Guardian."
