Women have been aborting unwanted pregnancies since the beginning of time...and always will.

Thit cannot ever be legislated.

Men have been beating their spouses since cave-dwelling days, too. Guess we can repeal all those battering laws, huh? And, men have been abandoning their "spawn" (god, it's great how you guys come up with these euphemisms for people!), but they're hounded and called deadbeat dads. If they'd just KILL the kids, they could save the money and not be felons -- what a concept!

-that's one way...sympathize with the oppressor/dominator...

Well you see I do not sympathise with the oppressor, but neither do I ultimately sympathise with the victim. Surely in a relatively trivial sense I detest the oppressor and sympathise with the victim. But ultimately I am in no position to judge anything. When I am wronged I cannot correct it, even by use of Eric and Dylan's method, though my use of their method may be justified in an earthly logical sense. Ultimately I must trust that in some way all moral imbalances, whatever they are, will be corrected. And this necessitates belief in an Ultimate Might.

I wholeheartedly Disagree [that we have no authority to give our bitter judgements meaning]. Like the self-righteous, hypocrite-sniper bastards who hunt doctors...there is no "passive resistance".

If these bastards have might enough to establish with finality and in all minds the goodness of their killing, then they have authority. Of course I think they have no such might.

Your bleeding, linear reality of our "animal existence" must not take into account the fact that animals kill their spawn occasionally. Male lions eat the young if the Lioness leaves them at the "wrong" time. Female animals will abandon spawn that isn't desired. Nature is Perfectly Cruel, sometimes...

Surely you jest, my friend. I have taken all this into precise account, which is one reason why I say human existence, despite loony talk about "love" and whatnot, is an animal's existence. Yes, animals have at times destroyed their own offspring, but not at all times. They have done it when the "time warranted it," just as the human animal has done. We are creatures of convention.

Again Jo, Women have been aborting unwanted pregnancies since the beginning of time...and always will.

But not all women have been aborting their children, and not at all times, and the sentiment for or against abortion has not always generally been the same. Like the migration of whales, it has shifted in accordance with the times and seasons. Humanity is one gargantuan herd of animals.

This cannot ever be legislated.

Blankety blank legislation, coey. One cannot by law force animals to earnestly seek denial of themselves, perchance to sacrifice for the well-being of others. This is why there will always be abortions, murder and divorce. It is why convention at some point will eventually allow the acceptance of many other abominations.

I think it is simply best and more logical to forgive the animals instead of harbouring ill will against them, as did lunatic Ahab against that whale, thereby establishing it as an equal (or confirming his own animalism). In this way one can move on with life, perhaps even making the attempt here and there of living not in so animal a fashion.
