Other big companies as well I suspect.

Thanks much. That was my next step in due diligence, but your mentioning has prompted me to look tonight perhaps before I place a bid.

"Have you been able to do any analysis of who holds patents in this area?"

Have just started doing some....the part I have to dig deeper is assessing who is in the market, who's patents are collecting dust, who is agressively asserting their patents, etc. The legal claims associated with a patent are difficult to read in a vacuum, so product information to examine would be helpful. But no reason to delve too deep at this point into a sub-sector that has yet to print money.
